NORTH REUNION

The Indian Restaurant was voted the place to eat together as I met with my 3 brothers and their wives to catch up a little on each other's news. It was nice to have James and Nalda's younger son, James, with us as well.

All three brothers live in the Cromarty Firth/Dornoch Firth area, not far from each other.

You can see how neat James and Nalda's patio is!

James, Nalda, and young James, took me on a nostalgic drive revisiting the house where I was given my first piano lessons (about 62 years ago!). We also went to see an old family grave with the names of 3 generations of Campbells.

Recently Hector and his son, Mark, cut a huge tree

Hector's wife, Winnie, breeds West Highland Terriers and Scotties, and owns 5 dogs herself! Want one anybody???

CARLIJN

We have known Carlijn's family for about 30 years now. (See earlier Blog "Goodbye Holland"). Carlijn was unable to be at Bill's birthday party but managed to come and see us last weekend. She is like one of our own family and we love her dearly.

We visited a restored and well preserved 16th century village not far from our home. It is called Culross, and shows the typical Scottish architecture of the time. Some of the colours are interesting!

We had some enjoyable music sessions too.
